A handsome looking Tokoname teapot that has the name "1000 steps" on account of the teapots step effect. Each line has a curved edge which creates the steps appearance. The lines are handcrafted in an admirable dark green color.
It holds 270cc which is perfect for our gyokuro and sencha loose leaf teas. This tokoname teapot has an obiami style strainer. It wraps 360 degrees around the inside wall of the teapot. Obiami strainers are renowned for allowing the tea leaves to open fully when infusing, which in turn releases all the flavor of the tea.
