San Nen Bancha (meaning 3 years tea) is commonly used by people following a Macrobiotic diet. It is made from the twigs, stems, stalks and leaves that are 3 years old when harvested. This results in a tea that is very low in caffeine. A powerful antioxidant green tea with the ability to balance your body.
| Brewing Suggestion |
On a Stove top - Place 10-15g of tea into strainer of a stove top kettle. fill the kettle up with 1 liter of water. Bring the tea to a boil. Simmer for 5-10 minutes. Switch of the stove and its ready to serve.
In a teapot - Place 2-3 tablespoons of loose tea in teapot. Boil water in a kettle and add to the teapot. Leave to infuse for a few minutes and then serve.
