This handcrafted Mino-Yaki matcha bowl takes on the name zansetsu. In Japanese, zansetsu is the snow which is leftover when spring comes that is slowly starting to melt away. Each bowl has a white glaze which represents the melting snow, and a red body which represents the warmth of spring.
Handcrafted in the Mino area of Gifu prefecture which is famous for its Japanese pottery.
