Our Yabe supreme is a very special organic sencha that comes from Kumamoto prefecture on the island of Kyushu. This is one of the finest organic sencha that we have ever had the pleasure of selling here at ‘The Japanese Green Tea Shop’.
Grown in an isolated spot between mountains at 500m above sea level. Deep morning mist and ideal temperature differences between day and night give this sencha its outstanding aroma and flavor that are distinctive to that region only. An all round winner, and highly recommended!

Harvest Year?	2008. Available each year after the shincha form has sold out, usually by mid to late June. Kept in cold storage then final stage processed and sent to us in small batches to maintain the freshness throughout the year.
What does "Yabe" mean?	"Yabe" is a district in Kumamoto.
Brewing Suggestion	• 6 grams of leaves • 100ml 70°C water • Infuse for 1 1/2 minutes
